  4. Lakeview motel is right on 18 between the river launch and Wilson launch and they are fishermen friendly with ample boat parking. Easy drive to river, Wilson, or olcott. May is usually great for the bar. Above posts are spot on for starting points....but always keep an open mind and look for current reports when u go. Bait shops...creek road bait and tackle near river. Olcott has boat doctors. Not sure if slippery sinker is open. Asb tackle in newfane. Food. Wilson...down on main street for breakfast/lunch. T and r convenience store for reasonable pizza/ hogies. Matty's for better hogies...ribs...wings. Wilson house for sit down/drinks. Also a grocery store and dollar store in wilson. 5. I think they should just call it what it is and change it to a salmon derby period. Let someone else start a trout derby. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. My thoughts exactly! Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Nice bucks guys. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Accudraw is available on most model ten points. Also on wicked ridge models. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. I picked up a steathcam 3 pack for $99 black Friday last year. They seem to be ok for the $$. Normal price is around $129 / 3 pack.
  10. Ten point has the option of a built in crank. Very easy to crank. I think wicked ridge offers the same crank. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. Very nice buck! Tough to gauge off night pics but I'd give it 140-150ish and 6 yr old?
  12. I wouldn't chance climbing it. This one fell on my neighbors tractor when he was clearing brush. He heard it crack and jumped off just before it crushed his seat. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. I hope it applies to sailboats as well. I had to blast my air horn at one 2 weeks ago. He was on a course to t bone my boat...we were doubled up fighting fish. When I yelled at him to keep off my stern ..we had fish on back there....his only response was...I'm in a sailboat. Apparently he cant control his vessel enough to avoid a boat traveling 2.5 mph. 14. A crestliner eagle is an aluminum walkaround. about the only one that might be in your weight range that I can think of.
  15. After following this thread for a few days I went back and read the original post....started by an officer, giving everyone a heads up to be sure they have all the proper/required safety equipment...pretty much to avoid being ticketed....and it's turned into a **** session. I say thanks to all the guys that try to keep "ALL" boaters safe by educating the idiots that buy a boat, and don't take the time to know the laws and regulations...As boat owners...we take other peoples lives into our hands every time we take passengers out for a day of fun. Not sure about the rest of you...but that weighs kind of heavy on me. Unlike a car...if there's a fire...you cant get out and run...your in the water..now what? It's 50 degrees...and everyone only has so long to survive...life jackets...who knew? Damn officers...wrote me a $$$ ticket. I didn't know I needed a fire extinguisher. Man I got one now. Makes 100% sense to me...but, I'm pretty dense. Be safe out there and take 5 minutes to check your safety equipment. Pretty sure that was the OP's message...and it could possible save a life.
  16. you could do a search on gunbroker.com for that make/model. It should give you a ball park idea of what the market is doing. I'd imagine all the gun shops are going to give you a low ball offer. If you're looking to sell it...I'd suggest listing on gunbroker or a similar site. That'll put in on the national market and should bring the best price for you. If you just want to know the value...there are a few annual publications. Shooters bible is the one that comes to mind. Lists most firearms..conditions..values...etc.
  17. Here's a couple better pics. I'll try to get more posted for chris. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. John, I ran the x4 alongside my depthraider and found the x4 to run .5 to .6 faster. I just calibrated the x4 to match the depthraider..now they run close to the same. The x4 seems to jump around a bit more, but, they are close now. Jeff
  19. Nice job Art! Seems there are a lot of kings coming from the East.
  20. Not sure what model you want but the boat doctor in olcott had a new old stock model at the Niagara show pretty cheap. He had it as a display in his store. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. That was wood with vinyl stretched over. Mine is a 2250 w hardtop. Sent from my SM-G930V using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  24. To your original question, there is a more economical way. If you want a new unit...look at the depth raider. Under $500 and gives the same information. Reliable too. If your ok with used...look for a depth raider or moor sub troll in the classifieds. They usually go for around $300. I'd lean toward the depth raider though, I don't think sub troll is still in business. You do not need a fish hawk to get the information you want.
  25. Cabelas whoopin sticks have a similar action. I just bought 4 short ones for walleye but haven't used them yet. Feel very close to the original ugly stick, but they have a cork handle.
