  1. Boat name threw me, lol! Glad you had a great day too, rolmops!
  2. Sounds like it was a great three days regardless. A learning experience from high to low for those boys. That's a good thing!
  3. My bad, A picture of the list would have made it easier than the .xls file Here it is 4 days later and the Pro/Am site still doesn't have a story They are not listed on the file.
  4. Well pardon me, Dave. If the website would post the results in a way any other than an excel file I might have got it right. Congrats on second then!
  5. The Results are posted as an Excel file .xls. You need the excel viewer to see it. Congratulations to Ace Charters for taking 1st, with Cold Steel 2nd, and Screamer 3rd. Way to go, Jimmy and crew!
  6. Great photos indeed! congrats on the birds!
  7. There is shark oil in Preparation H that some claim attracts fish. Great if it does and great for the hemorrhoids you might develop sitting down if it doesn't.
  8. All the best to you on the decision and the move, Rod! Change is good!
  9. I have a 2x6 attached to a pair of Eagle Feet http://www.tandlproducts.com/products.html on my 16' Alumacraft. I mounted 2 Cannon Mag 5's and a pair of swivel bases for hand cranked uni trolls. I also mounted 4 ball babies and a fish finder. Here is a partial picture of the set up. I have since removed the FF and placed a Scotty rod holder dead center for a down the chute application.
  10. It is always good to carry a spare battery. HD video takes up quite a bit of space and a high gig card is a plus also. viewtopic.php?f=35&t=26639 b4UuN5vLteo
  11. This is from a previous post here on the LOU and it shows the difference between the two. I caught a 20# Atlantic a couple years ago and knew it was an Atlantic Salmon by it's fight. I got to the launch and a guy there insisted it was a brown trout. "Wow what a brown," I remember him saying. I took the fish to Fat Nancy's in Oswego where Captain Andy Bliss confirmed I was right. http://www.seagrant.sunysb.edu/glsportfish/pdfs/SalmonTrout-LakeOntario2012.pdf
  12. I can't believe this boat didn't sell yet.
  13. Thanks guys. I was going to put wire on a pair of Daiwa 47LC's I have. With costs the way they are, any savings would be a help. Some things you just can't get around I guess.
  14. Why would anyone need 1000' of wire. Wouldn't it be more economical to use less with braid as a backing?
  15. Very detailed look at these fish. I think I'll send a copy to the guy who did my Atlantic. Thanks for sharing.
  16. Very interesting read, Larry. Thanks
  17. Yes, your tax dollars at work. There were five guys armed to the teeth on this rig. Sitting on 1200 ponies with a 50 caliber machine gun (so I've heard) under the hood up front. A friendly enough bunch , but they had a chomping at the bit look about them for whatever reason.
  18. And you can't forget these guys who are there making sure the neighborhood is safe
