  1. Go on channel 9 and talk to ruff rider and others when you are out there.
  2. New net is awesome! I love it. Just need to catch some bigger fish now.
  3. Not sure if the water changed or not but Sunday night the cold water was much deeper than you were fishing . You needed to get your gear down to 125 feet deep in order to get to 50 degree water. lure depth of 115 was probably only 62-65 degrees.
  4. Just proceed on a course that takes you 15 feet from him and your nearest wire diver on a #3 setting should clear his lines out nicely Maybe he'll think twice about pulling in front of you and anchoring up.
  5. Green Hammer Glow fly has been great for me too. I cannot ever seem to catch fish using the wonderbread SD or the wonderbread fly. I also don't do much with the green dot/white SD that everyone uses. Never seems to catch fish for me.
  6. We went 1 for 2 last night and also landed a little 6 or 7 inch Salmon. Was a really slow night for us though. Cold water was way down deep. 50 degree water was at about 125 feet. At 110 feet the water was 70 degrees.
  7. Great job. Good talking to you last night. Here was the beast we caught last night. And then we finally landed this one... [ Post made via Android ]
  8. Nick. What is the current wave report. Should I stay home? [ Post made via Android ]
  9. Mrs Ruff Rider... I love it! Nick: Tim and Jeff have pics of me with that Sweeeeet net in front of the Salmon Slam sign. Thanks to everyone for putting this together. We had a great time. I must admit, I couldn't sleep the night before either. Can't wait for next year.
  10. Go get em nick. We did pretty good last night. All fish came in 225 feet. Wont be out today but will be out tomorrow! [ Post made via Android ]
  11. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! I'D LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR NOT MOVING OUR FISH DOWN A SPOT TOO!
  12. I did a lot of "complaining" after the Niagara event and all of my legitimate complaints were addressed and corrected. They are doing their best and are doing a great job. These are not complaints but I do have a couple of more suggestions though 1. Allow Open teams to weigh in by 1:30 or 2pm instead of 12:30. Give us a little more fishing time and since we only weigh 3 fish it goes really quick. It also would keep more open teams around to watch the weigh in and ceremony. Right now there is wayyyy too long of a gap between the noon weigh in and the 5 pm ceremony. 2. Allow anyone including charter captains to fish the open but have this rule added for all teams: Boat must be less than 28' in length (or beam less than 10' in width) per manufacturers specifications. That way, the open weekend warriors with small boats would not have to compete against a 38' boat with a 14' beam. Not sure if any huge boats fished the open but it would prevent it from happening in the future.
  13. Great job guys. Wish I would have fished in it Hopefully next year I can get in the game!!!
  14. Nice job. We only had 2 fish on Sunday and total weight of those fish was about 8 lbs. We didn't bother to waste everyone's time weighing them in. Our 28 point box wasn't going to help. It was tough fishing for us this weekend. We had to try some tactics that we normally don't do and found out we need to learn more.
  15. Good luck to you guys! You are probably just going to run over to your home fishing grounds and beat em up anyway!!! See you at the weigh in.
  16. Everyone has to weigh in by 3 pm. We are going to be at Captain Jacks or Abe's for lunch around 1 or 1:15 then hang out for the weigh in.
  17. Nick, We made the decision last night to bag the BFF today due to the weather. We are going to come up for lunch and try to pre-fish this afternoon/evening. We are going to go over to the weigh in for the BFF and see how everyone did. Maybe we will see you there?
