  1. Ditto on the boga! I bought a cheaper I think bass bro brand by the end of the year they were in pieces on on the floor. Going on 4 seasons with the bogas
  2. Hey, do you guys ever brine strips beforehand or just keep them frozen and use as packaged? And do you bother to brine after opening a package or do they hold up ok if refrozen? Thanks everything I search refers to whole herring not strips.
  3. Ontario ca is pretty big would you be crossing near Alexandria bay or buffalo Niagara Falls?
  4. Decoy weight strap screwed to the bottom works great the ones I had were 1/2 x12
  5. Everyone's rite on with what goes where one thing to think about tho is with big boards is when your outside mono rod gets hit how do you reset it. Like Chas mentioned that type of spread would benefit from inlines you can send it way down the chute before you engage it and let it pull to the outside. And I also run the same leader lengths off the boards for that reason you just slide the next rod out farther and so on. Thun already mentioned the angle on the mast line so good luck out there!
  6. Lmao! That's why I don't use them anymore. And yes I know how to tune them just find it to be a waste of time.
  7. I watched you guys launch on the camera today I'm not going to lie I was pretty jealous! Thanks for the report!
  8. Works fine with the app installed. Site looks and functions great!
  9. Perfect thank you I could not find that in the page!!
  10. Question is, if my son caught a "big" fish could it be entered in the main tourny or would it be youth only division?
  11. While I do agree with your theory for the sake of this question we are only referring to finned balls. And with one having almost double the physical mass of the other to attain the same weight it would most certainly affect its performance. Self propelled would be funny until somehow it went haywire and there was literally a 16 lb torpedo cruising the lake uncontrollably!!
  12. Ya dans rite on lead weighs 700lbs per cubic foot cast is only like 440 or a 12 lb lead size equivalent would only weigh roughly 7.4 lbs.
  13. Blue eye I'm on my iPhone I got a background photo no problem when I try profile photo I hit upload prompts to chose one pic but doesn't open a album choice to chose from Chose single file not pic sorry
  14. I like it looks good, I also am a member of just about every other forum and FB page and one thing I will say is the Lou group is top notch with sharing info from reports to technique and so on! I've been here since "07" I think and the amount of information available thru a simple search is astounding. I hope leu can fallow in Lou's footsteps!!
  15. Thanks Paul, now is knowing the tendency of that water movement just from years of fishing or would say studying Glerl current maps will give me a fair indicator of where to head? I really appreciate everyone's input! I'd much rather learn how to find them instead of chasing other boats all over the lake!
  16. Lol good one sk8! Thanks for the replies guys. I've also been chasing Browns for a long time but green on the salmon. I looked in my book 3 years ago April the brown bite was good and boated my first 2 kings on a afternoon goof around. Two years ago the brown bite was epic tried twice in the afternoon couldn't find a king and last year Browns sucked for me but Kings were hot for the month I fished lake o but I targeted them more than ever. So I was unsure if that really was typical or spectacular and a good place and time to start looking this year. Winter blues!!
  17. Hey, last year early/mid May the salmon set up in that 80-90fow out of olcott, would you say that's pretty typical or unusual? Just trying to get a baseline idea for my second year I don't have much info to go off of just yet.
  18. Ha ha ha the race duck cracked me up!
  19. Also sent if dan don't grab it. Dan are you from lovejoy
