Ps, anyone interested in getting out and willing to chip in some gas and bait feel free to message me I fish every weather permitting weekend from the opener till almost October.

Not to bomb your thread but last July 4 was hot on that end. I remember the day like it was yesterday we had 2 boats and 7 guys out there I had my brother in law and his 7 year old with me the lake turned a day before and it was pouring like crazy all morning and the fog was so thick you could only see 50yds. But rods were popping like crazy outa Dunkirk heading to barcalona. I remember that day so well in part to the 9 eyes my nephew dropped at the back of the boat before he finally landed 1 on a 8 color core and it was on like donkey kong after that!

The good old days for sure. I still kick piles for my kids but it's not the same!!

it was a beautiful morning! The only problem was the the birds didn't show up. There was 1,000 ducks and gees here yesterday a truly amazing sight to see. They were bombing in from as far as the eye could see. Got permission set up, 5 guys ready roll and nothing. 1 mallard and some good laughs

Nice job, there all showing up on this end as well. All the frozen ponds and swamps are consolidating the birds on bigger water!

Lol, I write a whole darn page and my battery died but Lund summed it up and a bit kinder as well. You said there in the freezer-kids and family involved- and your proud if your accomplishment- I'm proud for you!!

Anyone know anybody that has tracking dogs, I called the answering service but no one has called back. I shot a absolute monster yesterday and have been looking ever since. The deer is in a field of ten foot tall grass and i can't see a thing. If you know anybody that may be able to help I would greatly appreciate it. Genesee county pembroke Corfu line

Pattern is non existent for me as we'll that was my reply to dj's pm still scratching them out but not easy like last week. A little motivation!!!

I ran into them as we'll today seemed like they were everywhere. I couldn't keep them off my chatter sticks. Still cracks me up when they hit a short core 2-3 color. The rod bucks the you see the fish 5 ft in the air instantly. Still managed to scratch out a box of eyes as well !

I caught more bass than perch today. Perch size was great but couldn't get away from the smallies. Kids had fun but certainly didn't fill the freezer! Wind sucked we left
