  1. Any chance you will be at LOTSA?
  2. I have a 24ft rampage with a single screw that I'm transferring my Raymarine Sport Pilot X 5R to. My question is do I need to get a rudder assist for it so it will hold true or should I be ok? With out the AP it holds course pretty well already so I don't know if I will need the assist or not??? Thanks Matt
  3. So F-ing cool!! Congrats
  4. Awsome job as always! Beautiful birds!
  5. The offshore board should never release from the back clip if you place the line behind the pin. Only way I have ever "lost" a board is if it dives and creates a ton of pressure. My question is will those releases on the front of the board release just as easy with mono than with braid ? Alot more stretch........
  6. Plenty of dock space for sure, but would reserve as soon as you could to be sure. And I'm pretty sure you could launch also.
  7. Great write up and thanks for sharing! You guys on Michigan fish mainly defined structure compared to the O where it's all open water trolling whether your in 60 fow or 600fow? And the pic of the little girl holding that King is priceless!!!
  8. Just out of curiosity is there any chance of filming any of the Pro Am's or other tournaments here on Ontario?
  9. I would say the worst predators to the animals listed above would be the Hawk. Yes Fox,Coyote, and Racoons hit them to, but once the Red Tail Hawk became protected that's when the numbers really began to drop.
  10. Yes those rods will work fine. You will need to add twilly tips to the ends. You will not get 1000ft of wire on 20 series reel. Okuma Convector 30d's hold 1000ft perfect.
  11. Awsome job! We too killed a rare bird today, a hybrid Black/ Mallards! Pretty cool, we also saw 8 mature Pintail!! Thought we were going to get a shot at the first 3 that came through. A big flock of like 30 Mallard appeared and sucked are Pintail right from our grasp! Definitely at the top of my list of birds I want! It was probably the most nervous I've ever been in a duck blind. Congrats again!
  12. Pm sent
  13. A couple buddy's and i are talking about possibly trying to run offshore this weekend if the weather cooperates. Any tips on what to do or look for would be awsome as I have never done this before. What's the best way to run decoys, type of birds to possibly get into ( really want an Eider!!) even though I no its not realistic. Really just want to try an get away from the crowds and try something different! Any info would be awsome Thanks!
  14. The only stupid thing I can see here is your comments! I'm pretty sure the whole point of this was for him explaining what he did and how he felt about it!? ( sounded pretty bad to me). Everyone looses game one day or another and thats just the way it goes. People like you shouldn't be allowed to speak.
  15. Great shoot! Wish I could have gone out, hopefully within the next few days!
  16. For me it's walking down the dock to the boat in the dark before a tournament! All the boats are lit up, all you can see is rods and nets high in the sky, the anticipation on all the teams faces! Then one by one you start to hear engines fire up! Untie the boat and heading out the shoot with some of the most beautiful boats on either side of you!! Once you hit the lake it's game time! That's the best for me, I truly love tournament fishing!
  17. If you can put 30 legal fish in a boat during a tournament, you are more than welcome to fish with me during any tournament!! Actually I beg you to fish with me!
  18. Thank You to everyone! 1fish2fish he's a jr. Merry Christmas to everyone again!!
  19. Well at 3:12 this afternoon Santa decided to pay us a visit! 5 fingers and 5 toes . Merry Christmas LOU!
  20. That is so cool I can't wait for the day I get the chance to go do that!!
  21. Awsome job! That is so cool!
  22. Definitely the toughest seasons if you are "trophy hunting" . And for me that consists of deer sightings/harvest that are 3 1/2 and older. I did see a huge number of 1st racked bucks and does. It seemed that the doe's this year were unusually small in size where I hunt. Be able to harvest a mature doe with my 5 year old son in the blind with me was definitely the high light of my season. As others have said, this was a great thread all season long. Thanks and we will have to do it again next year!
  23. Just curious what is the membership fee for GCBA?
  24. Yup, I saw a small 8pt chasing a doe Tuesday evening.
  25. My wife watches those damn shows and I can't stand them! All they do is pretend to fight and argue with each other. It is the worst TV that could possibly be watched! And Ray you can call me whatever you want as long as I am Key West!
