  1. Most likely plan on fishing near the Big Salmon River where 1000's of staging salmon will show up. Keep in mind they are NOT hungry but will bite out aggregation maybe dragging J-plugs, spoons or FF combos. First light is key because they are very spooky with high sun. Depths will be contingent on surface temps and rainfall affecting the river flow. I will be out there next week and can give you better details when I return, every year is different but you learn a lot over 35 years of fishing Lake O. Good luck.................Pete ps. Where from Maine?
  2. Give me box full of healthy 20 something lb. Kings, mixed in with a bunch of 12-16 lb. cohos and I'm happy as a clam at high tide. I remember the late '90's, almost every King was 30+ lbs. but that didn't necessarily make it better. Last year was incredible, my boat took a 32 lb. King in May (should have entered the derby).
  3. Why can't alewives be stocked or hatchery produced?

Hey Mike, this boat is docked directly on the other side of Catfish Creek from me. Very nice boat, well taken care of. Good luck Steve.
  6. Lou member Blaisi019, pm him or I can.
  7. Blaiisi019 has one that has been epoxied but works fine, otherwise you can buy one from Fish Hawk for $200 plus shipping
  8. VERY NICE, GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SALE!!!
  9. You would have to rent docks from either Salmon Country or Mike's Marina across the road on the Little Salmon River.
  10. Greg, did you try Utube? I have a Raymarine auto pilot on my boat, took several trys to calibrate it. I can look for my manuals if they can be of any help.
  11. Love the Osprey Boats!!! Almost bought one, instead bought a Baha.
  12. Baitballin, kudos to you for your sincere apology, takes a big man to admit his wrong choice of words. Hey I was one to try and stick up for you, but your words were harsh and nothing good comes out of defensive negativity. Pursue your dreams, always be humble, and have respect for the lake and your fellow fisherman. I'm sure you'll get there some day. Good Luck, you taken the right path with your apology.
  13. How do you catch fish in an East wind? Drag cowbells on the bottom for lakers?
  14. Let's All wish the young Buck nothing but best of Luck and I think we all admire his enthusiasm. Good things will come his way, Gill-T had some excellent, experienced advice for him, all comes with Years and Maturity. Honestly hope your future Dreams come to the fullest Baitballin86 and best of Luck this fishing year...........PD
