Buck down for Tommy. The buck he was chasing the last few years got shot opening gun weekend while he was in Kansas. I’ll post a pic when I get one. Rainy and nasty out here but I guess you never know. -
Funny time of year. You see nothing until you do. I’m glad I still have a tag and an opportunity. Coffee tastes best up 20 feet in a tree anyway.

Something to Consider At its lowest we are blessed to have the fishery that we do. At its lowest we are blessed to have the hunting opportunities that we do. $120 for a year of opportunities is a real bargain. Anything better is a bonus.

Saw a giant chasing a doe on Chase rd this morning. Saw a decent 8 chasing a doe at Hamlin Beach walking dogs. Saw a good buck cruising through my backyard this afternoon and he walked by one of my cameras a little later. Bucks in 8A and 8C are definitely on their feet. -

Way too nice of an afternoon to not be in the woods. If a doe gives me a clean shot I’ll take it but that hasn’t happened yet this season. Should a buck come through I’ll shoot it with my camera. Wind, like every day lately is swirling a little. Good luck to all.
