Lines in at 6:30 out at 10:30. 50 degrees was down 90. Worked 180 to 220 most of the morning, finished in 100.
5 for 7 on kings but no big guys. Most fish came on paddles pulling cut bait.
My father passed June 3rd at 87. He lived a beautiful life so I will miss him but not grieve.
This was on his boat, now it’s on mine.
Blessed and proud.
And practically brand new. Not surprised though, have bought from Dave multiple times and his stuff is always perfect.
A bonus buying from Dave is seeing all his mounts, incredible.
Solo trip from 7 to 930.
Best water was 80-120 50 to 65 down.
3 for 3 with a bow and two Kings. Larger King was mid teens 65 down on a paddle pulling meat. First trip with the new riggers and tracks which was pretty cool.
Went out with some friends scouting for this week’s tournament. Great mix of Kings, Bows and Coho. Dozen or more fish including a slammer bow. Great times.
Same kid and I were swapping out old Cannons for new this afternoon and were using the old booms for the new ones. Kid was drilling new holes in the booms and snapped the bit and drove the remaining half completely through the tip of his middle finger on his left hand. Bloody mess. Two hours at Urgent Care, fed him some lunch and back to finish the job lol.
