  1. It seemed when I had done some research recently comparing aluminum boats, the west coast boats from a quality and durability were top notch. Not knocking the other boats mentioned but when it comes down to it price has a lot to do with it. Thickness of the aluminum used in transom and hull is much more in the west coast boats like Duck worth and Hewscraft. Getting them over here after the sale is added cost as well but that’s the price you have to be willing to pay. If it’s too high of price, the next models mentioned like Crestliner and Lund would be good choices. Sometimes I felt like Lund was over priced for the name but when you look at the quality it’s worth it. Have heard and read some nightmares on Starcraft but the layout I love for the deep v design. There’s a couple pros on here that run them on Lake O with much success. Good luck on your purchase. Love to see what you end up with. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  3. Yea, strange. Only thing next to my ignition is kill switch. Acc switches are to the upper left but those would be labeled accordingly. Lights, live well etc. Could they have had a manual choke button for motor? Mines part of ignition. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  12. Agreed. If you have kept it up with good gas and hasn’t set around not running I’d run her. You’ve got the 15hp to get you out of trouble if need be. Now if the big motor is having troubles, bad compression etc make the move. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  19. Nice set up Mike, make sure you follow the max for that like gambler mentioned. Personally I wouldn’t fire more than 3-4 rounds with out cleaning in between to make sure no fouling is changing your grouping. It’s really up to you what you feel good about with powder or pellets if your getting good grouping with both. There’s pros and cons for both. I think with the rest you’ll get tighter groups and not rushing. I’m sure the feeling of getting it out of the box throwing some rounds felt good. 100 yds that thing is capable of being within an inch of each other or better. There’s some experts on here as well. They’ve got some good advice. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
