  1. I think anyone could reach for what they want to hear. I get it. It’s tough all around right now for a lot of people. Vehicles for hire is for transportation, again essential. The one employee being exempt is while being able to maintain 6ft distance right? At the end of the day, decisions being made affect a lot of people, others will discount it, some will follow it. Hopefully all or most will do the right thing for what they were intended for. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. Let me play a little devils advocate, The current mandate is “non essential Business” are shut down. You can argue all you want about a charter business being considered “Essential”. I’m not debating it. What bothers me the most about it is the pot calling the kettle black for some. That same charter who says “ I’m still gonna take my charters out” would be the first in line to call out another boater for not having his charter license because he’s not following the laws...... 3. We’ll get through it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. One person to weigh, one person to update board, and the organizer. Everyone else stand behind the red line. Had to do it at Wegmans. Hopefully we’ll be in a better place soon. Keep the ideas coming Doc! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Switch from plastic to copper if you haven’t yet from your feed to the fridge. Had a bad experience one time where the plastic tubing split after a few years. Not good. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. The defer piece is a benefit for some due to hardships their going to be faced with soon coming. Whether it’s adding it on the back side or adding interest, for some it will help. I’m with ya on the zoom conferencing. Glad to see Maine’s keeping it open to the fishing. As of this morning NY has almost as many deaths as Maine has total confirmed cases. I just hope we can make a down turn quickly otherwise the next steps will be potential curfews. If you haven’t realized it, the valve in NY is continuously being closed until we see improvement. I guess if theres any latitude now get it while you can while being smart as Gator mentioned. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  7. Yes, you are probably right, you just have to be in the mindset that if you are, don’t be upset at anyone but yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  9. Depends on who your fishing with and who stops you ...... officer might look at ya and say “you couldn’t catch a meal if a fish was in a bucket sitting in your living room”....... Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Take the back roads. As of right now, if you are not traveling to and from an essential job or necessity like for food and gas you could be ticketed. Not to say you would but don’t be angry if you are. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. That’s what I’m hoping, it keeps you safe but will also allow us a chance to win some derby money lol Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. Yes, snap (no swivel) tied to a 10-12lb fluorocarbon leader (8-10ft) to a small ball bearing bead swivel tied to your mainline 14lb mono or so. That’s what I use for Finger Lakes. You can adjust leader thickness if your up on Ontario. Gives lures great action especially sticks. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. I would stay with a snap without the swivel. Much better action on stick baits from what see than to tie direct. If you do many changes like me from spoons to stickbaits put a small bearing swivel up 8ft from the snap. This will allow a light leader to the mainline as well if needed. 19. Agree, March is the time when everyone’s blood is boiling to get out on the water for the new year. Fall is all about deer for most. Might want to look at some raffles or donations to try and keep with annual expenses. Maybe something added during the derbies coming up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
