  1. Not to change the subject Yankee but what kind of rod holders are those for your dipsys? I would like to get some but the cannons are pretty pricy.
  2. Saturday we went way west twords pultneyville in about 120 to 180fow. We did alright went 5 for 5 with 2 kings one steelie, brown and a laker all over 10 lbs. Marking fish everywhere.

  4. I guess I should just try without and see what happens
  5. Last saturday they didnt turn on till noon. Hang in there and good luck.
  6. Can you run a copper rig down the middle with dipsys off the sides?
  7. Nice sketch. I feel like many people use a 2.5 setting. Why do they use this and not a number 3?
  8. I was out there yesterday at daylight and it started out super slow. Tons of boat traffic and everyone on the radio was saying how slow it was. Marking tons of fish but apparently they were a little spooked by the boat traffic or not feeding. We stuck it out and around noon were were marking tons of bait and lots of good size fish. From noon to about 4 all of us stayed pretty busy with fish and clearing the rods. Like Skipper asked if you had a probe. After using one I would never go back to guestimating again. So handy and tells you your two most important things; speep and temp at your lures. sounds like you guys are on the right track though. Every time I go out I learn something new. One thing though, I know if I hooked that fish on the spinny and fly I would look for my next closest thing to what it hit. Like everyone says "the fish will tell you what they like" Change colors, speed, sizes, depths, and experiment a little with whats working and whats not.
  9. thanks. So the fishing is alot better on the North End you say or are they just bigger?
  10. I have always run snubbers on my dipsy rigs. I hear of many people who use them and many that don't. What are the positives and negatives on both?
  11. Nice fish! I lost a laker that was probably a few pounds bigger than that.

Were marking them in the morning not alot of action in the boat. Glad we stayed out and didnt go in for lunch. Once we found the big schools of bait and fish it was non stop action and a great time. Makes me wanna go up again next weeken haha. Semmed like anything green and the A-Tom-Mik flies are always HOTT!
