  1. Ill add that the fish seem to prefer country music. They seem to hate anything from the 80s.
  2. What do you do for good luck before you start a day of fishing? I usually toss a coin overboard as soon as the lines are set, I usually get a fish within two minutes. Ive also banned bananas on my boat as they have proven to be bad luck.
  3. Welcome. Love the catch and release and those are some nice fish.
  4. Good fishin, lots of north east wind coming up this week. Not looking too good.
  5. I have a 16 foot tracker and go all the time, just watch the wind.
  6. I have used Scotty holders for years and never had a problem running the magnum dipsys.
  7. I was throwing size 7 rippin raps in the pearl color pattern and 5 inch rubber smelt patterned plastics with a 1 ounce jig head. I probably missed 2 fish for every one I got to the net. It was a nice change up from trolling.
  8. I was out there as well today, tried casting for lakers, worked better than I thought it would. Nice king!
  9. Depends on where you wanna fish. Most guys hit the green can or the coast guard drift for lakers. You can troll stick baits in 8 to 15 feet of water off the fort and catch anything with a mouth. When are you going?
  10. Michigan and Huron are low on alewive and lake Ontario seems like it has too many alewive at times. On some days I mark more alewive than salmon!! I guess I should be thankful.
  11. 2012 Tracker V-16 Pro-Guide. Its nice to be able to pull it on shore in front of the house. Runnin six rods, I dont have it in me to try to run eight yet. Only thing not in the picture is me.
  12. Put a camera on my 16 footer in 4 foot waves, add some dramatic music while I look as nervous as possible, I say that we might not make it back this time, and we have a show. The fact that I catch fish and can act like an idiot is just a bonus.
  13. Im out of Wilson in a 16 foot boat and if I dont like the way the lake looks I make the 15 minute drive to the Niagara river and based on the time of year I can catch anything. In June small mouth bass are plentiful and the odd lake trout is not out of the question on the Niagara bar. Also the drop off at Fort Niagara is a prime King Salmon location. The river is well protected from the wind and waves. If all else fails lake Erie is about 45 minutes away. As for a salmon bite, its less than 2 miles to the salmon grounds out of the piers. If you dont like Wilson then Olcott is six miles East. If you book a charter and still have more questions about how to set up a smaller boat for the big lake id be more than happy to help you out. Good luck and tight lines. Killian
  14. I would have loved to go but im in Ohio for school until April. Maybe next year.
  15. Id say the market is still wide open. Washington state has almost 300 breweries and North Carolina has around 100. New york has just over 200. I dont know if that includes microbrewerys or not but there is definitely room. If you got a good product word will get around and youll be competing for those beer lovers.
  16. Awesome, how long did it carbonate for? Ive found that if I dont have a good enough head it just needs to sit another week. Also check the temp of where your storing it while it carbonates.
  17. http://www.amazon.com/MotorGuide-VariMAX-Saltwater-Trolling-45-Pound/dp/B004KNEBYY Like this?
  18. Man it looks like I gotta buy some carbon 14s
  19. Thats pretty creative. I dont think I would get anything on my hand though.
