    I tried cowbells and a peanut on the bottom Sunday and nothing. But may have been fishing too fast

    This is on topic as well. Does anyone take the fly skirt off and flip it so that the plastic tube piece points toward the hook? Seems like the skirt is fuller and has more movement in the water that way. I don't know why they come the other way

    I could literally watch the fish come up off the bottom to the rigger ball follow it for awhile then head back down. That was crazy cool

    I am already committed to getting the newest fish hawk for 2016 whatever that may be. Right now it is the X4 which includes depth and bluetooth correct?

    My head is spinning. I do the same thing watch my shark weights on my screen and I lower them to where I want them. I do see what has been said here measuring the distance between the duper and whatever is under it but isn't that telling us all the info we need? Trying to put the pieces of the pullze together here in comparison to the info from the fish hawk. I will have a fish hawk x4d the next time I fish lake o have already made up my mind on that

    Well when u travel 3 hours and only go once a year you tend to hang in there. We would have stayed out longer but my brother was starting to feel the affects...

    Well, cant say as we slammed them. never got a king. picked up 2 browns, 1 on saturday and 1 sunday am. blown off the lake sat early 2pm. arms still bruised. sunday was really nice but hot! too bad the fishing wasent. couldnt dial anything in. had fish come up from the bottom and follow my ball then back down. thinking lakers or maybe kings. some bait but not allot.

    Well, update is Saturday after we got blown off the lake we hit Sticks in New Haven. Really good wings and Mike gave me some pointers on the fishing.

    I was out of Mex point sat and sunday. fished all over out in front of 9 mile. fleas were not bad at all thank god.

    ok, so your adding the bearing to prevent line twist between mainline and leader. then your just using a coastlock or duolock snap at the business end? Curious to know why not a coastlock snap at the business end?

    so you are using a non ball bearing snap on your spoons? Or are you using a swivel in line in your leader?

    yup this is my third summer fishing lady o but only my 4th trip ever. There is a ton to learn but it's fun no matter what

    Just be careful running the boards you will be in with allot of other boats. I always tend to stay outside of the pack as I am not as experienced as most on the lake o trolling routines.

    Sounds like 10k is spot on I paid 8k for my 1991 221v in 2013 with none tabs on her. I love it
