I have the I/o to outboard kicker Es steer. Although I provided the exact measurement to the Ez steer rep and everything mounted fine, it has never really worked all that well. There is a tension set screw you can adjust once installed and moving the main wheel back and forth. For some reason the Ez steer seems to come apart therefore not allowing for proper steering position. Haven't been able to get this corrected yet. One thing I would suggest though is to use a bungee cord from the Ez steer rod to your kicker or something cause they can pop off when u raise you engine etc. better safe than sorry
Yup and I would hope that u never do. Last year I fished lake o in not so nice weather. Over 4' waves. I felt confident as long as I stayed vigilant at the wheel. First time my buddy that was fishing with me actually put his life jacket on
same situation as me, I have 4 magdas and one has gone bad. Replacing it this year. Saltiest is at top of list at the moment but the tekotas and cold water are up there too in that order
i like the saltiest, they get great reviews. Just wish they didn't stick the line counter so far out on the side of the reel. What is the reason for this.?
Its allot of $$ to spend on this piece of equipment but I have invested considerable time and $$ int otravelling 3 hours bac kand forth, and thousands of dollars in equipment to Fish Lake O to only have caught 2 salmon and 2 brown trout out of 4 trips!
I will be pulling the trigger on a FH X4D this spring. Any recommendations as to where to get the best deal, if there is such a thing on these units....
Definatly, u need to have the switch above the intake of the pump at least an inch maybe even 2. Otherwise it will always be tripping and activating the pump, which will eventually burn out
I have a Starcraft Islander 221V looking for a fiberglass swim platform that attaches to the stern of the boat. Would like one of the versions that is centered allowing me to use the downriggers. Suggestions for purchase locations.
