    Travel more into the Adirondack State Park and you will find ponds/streams with plenty of brooktrout

    I will tell you this, I have just started fishing lake o the last couple of years and to date have only made a half dozen trips. I purposely stay well away from any packs of boats because I am just learning the etiquette out there. I will say though that I have been trolling along and been passed by much bigger boats throwing big wakes not 30' away. I felt that was kind of odd...

    i hear you there! I had my islander out in over 8' swells last year and I felt totally safe. These were not the breakers though. Did take one over the stern soaked my brother sitting in the jump seat haha. Auto bilge kicked on

    Just stay in sight of the shoreline and no issues what so ever. just dont go out when its real windy or rough. thats just common sence.

    Looking to install a swim platform for the back of my islander. This will be used for both cooler space and for the kids to get in/out of the boat easierthan using the ladder. I would like to have the drop down ladders on it as well. anyone have a good site to look at for these? I want the composite one.
