  1. damn that's a good idea. Honestly never thought about washing my boat in the car wash! Gonna have to give that a try!
  2. I am kind of surprised the minimum size is 15" actually
  3. Isn't there also the issue of rod and reel setup? It's pretty easy to start over cranking with big gear not realizing the lighter line?
  4. Will the single hooks allow for more spoon action?
  5. The only salmon I have ever landed so far is on a white with green dot ad and green fly
  6. I have the elite 7. I know there has been allot of talk about this unit and some of it not so good. But I love it, it was a huge step up for me from my ol aedile ultra 2 plus. I got the navionics premium charts and it is sweet
  7. I need to do that! Thanks for the tip
  8. hey I like that spoon holder great idea!
  9. Not looking good at all for today tomorrow looks to improve should be good after this weather blows through?
  10. ok I won't get back this year anyways but was curious as when I was there a few weeks ago it was slow I never hooked up with a king the three days I fished. Only got one small steely
  11. So is the fishing picking up out of Mexico yet or still slow overall?
  12. beats the heck out of cranking by hand though!
  13. mid to late 80's?
  14. no clue really. You should have a 3A inline fuse if nothing else.
  15. I was in the same situiation as you two years ago. Luckily a friend of ours gave me his Mag 10A's for free however when he sold the boat the female plugs went with it..so, I looked around and checked out fish307.com who has allot of legacy Canon parts. no dice so I ordered the new conversion plugs. I must say that it was well worth the $$. the new plugs are far heavier duty and have caps that seal the terminations...I highly recommend them.
  16. HAHA! Bingo, I was right! canon Mag 10A I have 2 of them
  17. and your using 16lb weights! I think the book says 13lb max
  18. that it would but I will go with a Mag 10A
  19. I think 16lb is too much for me older Mag10A riggers
  20. Just buy an etec and be done with it!
  21. They are diehard riggers. U will love them. We had on old Rivera at one time now that was a beast!
  22. I do not have a fh yet bit planning on one for my next major purchase for next year. Reading these posts makes me believe that I also need to invest in some heavier dr weights as right now I am running 8 and 10 lb weights! Talk about blowback!
  23. We have one on my dad's boat. It's great for fishing shallower lakes to say 60 feet. But I don't know how much fun it's gonna be cranking them up and down 100 plus feet on lake o? U will have strong arms though
  24. now that is a blast from the past
