    yeah, probably right. I had to add new power cables to them so removed the switch as well. pretty easy to flip

    My Mag 10A's switch I believe is set to set the rigger down automatically.I have to hold it while coming up

    Ok, so I really do not know what happens to the salmon once they spawn other than dying. Are the rivers loaded up with flowting dead salmon? Stupid question but I really dont know

    sounds sort of like my situation. My squeeks when I have the RPM's up upon start, but once back down to normal idle it goes away?

    Heading to Mex Bay next weekend. Hoping to fish in front of catfish in 70FOW or so? Or will I have to travel 10 miles to find 300+ feet?

    yeah, that is a bunch of bs.. my dad was a feed salesman for 35 years and called on farms every day. he has some stories let me tell yeah. One of the best dog stories is a farm he would call on that had a pair of Dobermans. two times in a row he called on the farm the dogs came out and my Dad would sit in his Durango waiting till someone called the dogs off. but before the farmer came, two times in a row the dogs would start biting at the tires. a few miles down the road, he would have a flat. year, the doberban would puncture a hole in the sidewall.

    Can I ask one question with hijacking this post so to peak....I have been looking into getting a smoker but there are so many choices. I basically would like one that I can walk away from for 3-4 hours not having to worry about it etc. Budget under $300 for one. I like the idea of propane cause I can use it camping. Not so interested in charcoal but a duel version would be fine. I have looked at the Masterbuilts thats about it..Any thoughts as to a decent one for that $

    yup, looks to be the same boat as met us out of Mexico a few weekends back. 1. Any luck? 2. What time did you get to the launch? 3. What time did you catch the fish? 4. Any lamprey? 5. Any gill issues? 6. What County are you from? I should have told them that the king I got had a gill issue. Noticing it later in pictures, the left side gill plate was 1/2 as long as the right!

    My islander came with the tite locks which are aluminum..great for the walleye fishermen, not so great for salmon running dipsey sets. I changed them out for Berts first thing

    nice. A few weekends ago our action came off of anything green and white and we threw everything at them. the 24lb king I got was on a froggy SD and blue crush action fly on wire dipsey out 250

    I am headed out weekend of Sept 7. Will be looking at the 100 FOW mark first. no sence of going out to 350+ like I did 2 weekends ago

    Great Sacandaga Lake is better but have to use live bait and wait!
