Boy that area across form Deans has produced a lot of fish. Glad you got some to eat. Working on my stuff the last few days. Ice fishing here in my part of Pa numbered......k

Rochester area Flea market Saw some place a notice about a flea market this month near here. I would like info about it and a place to stay nearby, with in 25 miles. We would come up and fish the area and go to the market the next day. We di this with the Watkins Glenn one around April first or so. Thanks......jk

I have less than 50 to my credit. but two friends have 80 for one guy and 100+ for a trapper. All mine are trapping and the guy with 80 all his are shooting and a few with those cables. How many do you have to your credit? Or coyotes here are hammered so the survivors are smart and wary. The season starts and everyone gets one or two then the work starts.....jk I guess all critters are that way though -

By using the word "contacts" you did see some fish on the depthfinder( or as we call it the TV)? Last year that place was a desert. On the south end of the lake we only caught fish of the eastern point then over in front of the restaurant 3ish miles up the motel and at goldseal......jk -

Still nice fish. We went out today on a local lake here in north central Pa and we are probably done for the year here. Stay safe everyone! This has been a good post, thanks all.....jk -

Ok can bring in salted suckers and chubs from Pa then for ice fishing "Use of Dead Fish as Bait Any dead fish, or parts thereof excluding eggs, that are legal to possess and are not prohibited for use as bait (see above) that have been packaged for commercial sale and have been preserved by methods other than by freezing only (e.q., salted minnows) can be used in any water body where it is legal to use fish as bait and do not require a receipt. Each package of dead bait fish must be individually labeled, identifying the name of the packager/processor, the name of the species, the quantity of fish contained, and the means of preservation".

A buddy of mine shoots them off a pile like you do. He is a bit more organized as there is now window to open, he has a holes in the wall with a big rags stuffed into it. This is right over his freezer with bags all set and the rifle laying on it, a perfect rest. Moon lite with snow is magic to him and in the morning right now that is what we have if there is no clouds. But the moon will only last another week at the most in the morning, there is no evening moon now......jk

They are real good eating. take the backstraps and hams cook until the meat falls off the bones. Will taste like beefnot chicken---ha ha). We have even taken the whole critter and cooked the whole thing-good eats.....jk Ps were are you in NY?

I don't care to much about the price of beaver, I just like trapping them. big bulky awkward to carry and heavy, just a neat critter, he does his share of damage but all in all a neat critter......jk

King Slammin, That is scary stuff there, Glad only gear was lost. Could you explain your fishing tech to us Tip ups? some sort of alarm system?? or do you just wake up every so often and jig? In trapping we call it trap line management a very important, poorly understood part of trapping. What sort of system do you do. Thank......jk
