Back in the day , late 70s early 80s , I had a wood boat . I had 2 shortarm riggers and some single big boards . All we ran back then spring were stick baits . I would put one each on riggers and when I got out to 15 to 40 ft I would put on 2 deep diving stick baits . Spoonbill rebels , Lindy shadlings , long A bombers . They dove down 15 to 25 ft . I got a lot of fish on those and some real nice kings . So I agree that some of those Rapalas look like they would be great for that .

I bought some tape from the show last year . Did the same thing . I heated it with a heat gun . Didn't do anything .It fell off after a while in the he water . It's bad tape I figure . Glue on the back . They have taken all the good stuff out of paint and other stuff with the VOC laws .

Can't deny the fact that the Dems ( crazy left wing mind you ) want to stop any sport fishing or hunting and to disarm us . They say it outright. Many times. They don't even hide it anymore . The history is there.

Keep voting for Dems and this stuff is what you get. Even just getting it on the ballot is a win for them . Every year it gets more crazy .

So once again , respectfully , thank you for making my point . If everything you are saying is true , which I believe it is , how can you believe the so called facts , results are true ? As we have seen with our own eyes more than once , we can't . So we have to be skeptical.

DEC does bait survey . Some guys on here doubt it . It's science , why would you not believe it ? Poll say this candidate will win and they don't . What happened ? We were told science said to take the Jab , shut everything down , etc ,etc . Turned out they were wrong . A lot of this data is wrong or incomplete or interpreted wrong or used to create policy or justify an agenda . So thank you for making my point for me . And I doubt electric rates go down anytime soon . But I could be wrong . I'll wait and see .

The numbers and statistics may not lie but theycan be interpreted differently by different people . And those interpretations may be manipulated to set policy for someone's agenda .

A lot of restaurants are going belly up . For a lot of reasons on I see . It expensive now . Labor ,food costs , energy , taxes ,building maintenance, etc . What use to cost 25$ is now 60$ . And people go less . So restaurants can't make it up in volume so they rais prices and people go even less . A vicious circle scenario . Eddie Bauer going bankrupt . They rested their laurels on an American company with quality and changed to Chinese and foreign products Best deal out there for takeout as I see is a Wegmans sub . Large 16$ and it can feed my wife and I both . And if you build it right it's healthier for you .

How fast people forget During COVID , many were paid to stay home , and in a lot of cases made more money than they were making working . Remember the 600$ checks and all the money thrown as it ? This was the start of lazy ass syndrome . People got use to sitting home collecting instead of working .Non essentials were told to stay home This led to supply shortages from lack of labor . This , price increases During COVID The price of everything went through the roof . Many things you couldn't even get . In my business I spent 58$ for 6 2x4x8 once . Usually 26$ For custom built-in cabinets , the drawer slides I use were 1 year. out , couldn't even get them . We needed white oak for cabinets and beams and it was unavailable . I work in the trades . I see very few younger people coming into them . And when I see them , very few last . So I don't know what you are talking about . Remember in Mich , I think, where you were not even allowed to go outside your house without being arrested and fined . Not the fresh air initiative of which you imply . There is a big difference in battery powered tools and electric heat and cars . California wants all Battery cars by I think 2030. They have rolling blackouts now during summer . What's going to happen when people get home on a hot day at 5 pm when AC is blasting and everyone plugs their car into a 100 amp circuit ?

Science told us all about COVID I heard that Southern Florida is now under 2 ft of water and that the polar ice caps are completely melted as we were told 15 years ago now because of Global warming now climate change . Kind of ironic today .

Lets look at McDonald's just for an example . If min wage increases say 5 $ . The actual cost of that with all taxes and insurance etc is more like 7.50 . Go into any Mc D and there are 5 or 6 employees . So the increase per hr is 35$ min . Labor cost is usually 33 % of the cost of doing business in a restaurant so to recoup that they need to sell 100$ more in product t. So what happens ? They raise prices . Add if the same for the production of the food products needed to make that hamburger and we get bread made in Mexico and Americans at home unemployed , not contributing , but now getting food stamps and welfare . All the graphs and charts used to justify this **** can't really top a little of Granny's backwood wisdom and common sense . And now we find we have been being robbed blind . NYC is broke.People of means Dems hate are fleeing . The money to bail them out is going to have to come from somewhere . And Kathy hates us up here . So let's hope our fun interests aren't targeted .All the taxes we pay and It's never enough It's becoming blatantly clear to me that our economy is nothing but a house of cards . And now I find out I'm going to hell . Well ain't that something .
