Might be my 1st time trolling browns, hoping for a couple tips

Recommended Posts

I have questions.

What water temp should I be looking for ?

Maybe out the Gennessee ? What direction ?

Head out Gennessee or I Bay ?

I understand stick baits and spoons. What about worm harnesses ?

I have a 14' aluminum with 8hp motor. If waves are 1' or less next week im going to try. I really can't get on Lake O much because I have a small boat. But if the stars align, and I can get some help/info with direction, it'd be extremely appreciated for the almost never opportunity I might get. Thank you

Stick baits because they are speed tolerant

75-100 ft leads

Iron bay and east

6-12 fow

parallel trolls to the shoreline

Sandy might be a better first time . If you have boards great .

If just long lines then lay your rod holders flat as you can  . Run those back 150 ft or so . Try to stay in or on the edge of the stained creek water and closer to shore .

Shallow stick baits .

Thanks guys ! I do have boards, 8'6 okuma planer rods, and plenty of sticks/spoons. I really appreciate it, just needed a sense of direction. Thank you very much, hopefully I'll be able to put up a report next week lol
