Olcott 7-12-25

Made a one day trip to Olcott today….bite was hot for us first thing even in the rain. Just 2 of us and we had four on at once peeling line. We were able to get 2 of the four in. Biggest was 20 pounds. Crazy bite till about 8 am then slowed down but picked at them. Way better than a month ago. No bugs, some early rain then got hot about 11. Best area was just west of harbor 125-180’. Tons of boats out today. Ramp was nuts out of the gate. Downriggers with carbon 14 down 80 was super hot early. We also caught a lake out in about 210. Meat was great as usual. Always fun up there for us even if the fish don’t cooperate it’s a nice little getaway.
