Well I have my fertilizer, disc and seed ready to rock and the rainnnnnn doesn’t look like it’s coming any time soon. Would you guys still plan a brassica plot in late August? I’m worried about it getting enough time to mature.

thoughts?

Yep, already have it done and my fertilizer is bought to match. So I am ready as soon as the rain pops up. Good news is my PH is darn near perfect. We are in Western NY, Monroe County.

I am not saying this is right, but I have always taken the approach of get the seed in the ground and don't try to time the rain.   Can't tell you how many times over the years I have planted with no rain in site and within a couple days we get a down pour.
