bowfin regulations

OK, I've been looking and looking and can't seem to find any regulations on Bowfin's. Is there a season for them and if so is there a size limit? I love targeting them and would like to try one as table fare at some point. If they are anything like a snakehead taste wise they should be pretty good to eat.

Open season all year. No size limits or creel limits. Good luck, they are a very cool fish.

My buddy tried one.  It was not good.  The leftovers also turned to mush overnight!
