Can anyone offer a water level report down around Pecos and Millens Bay? Heading up in 4 weeks for my annual fall perch trip and last year, the local launch closed due to low water. I'm assuming it's even worse this year.

We were in Morristown from 9/6 - 9/13.  During that time, it was very obvious that they were pulling the plug.  Every day you could clearly see the water lines dropping on the dock and the rocks.   I put the boat into the boathouse at the end of the day on the 11th.  The following morning, we had to physically push it out because the bow had become beached overnight.  We also found that the first three days of our trip were very productive but when it became obvious that they were rapidly lowering the water levels, the fish that were cooperative the first part of the trip were nowhere to be found.  By now, I'm sure the levels have dropped even more.  The other thing we saw was the amount of ship traffic seemed unusually heavy meaning they must know to get their business done sooner rather than later.

We'll be up again in two weeks and will be posting an update on water levels.
