Hemlock fishing 2025

I haven’t fished Hemlock Lake in a few years and went out a couple times this summer and it’s been noticeably slower for me. Any regulars out there care to report?

I’ve had success in past years, trolling for lake trout with a with a Seth Green rig and occasionally pull copper.  Any comments on how rainbows behave would be welcome.  Also, the pan fishing seems off too. I’ve talked to a few people at the launch who have also not been very successful. I know 90% catch 10% and 10% catch 90% but I’m curious if the experienced regulars see a drop in production.

My guess is because of how low the water has been the past several springs

that being said i have noticed around everywhere in general the past 2 years the bite hasn't been as good.
