Wish List:

I am going over these posts trying to get a handle on the lake temperatures. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a bouy out in 150 fow tethered to the bottom with temperature indicators every 10' that we could connect with via the internet to get a read on where the thermocline is. I know personally this would save me a lot on fuel costs and I think would be greeted with a lot of enthusiasm from fisherman. My two cents.

Bob - How true. Only problem is that the West side of the Genny is generally colder closer to shore than the East side. (currents)

I think it'd be more helpful to get NOAA to move the E-W temp transect line much closer to the south shore rather than out in the middle of the lake. (It'd also be helpful if they calibrate the sensors cuz they say 52F is the coldest out there & we all know that's not true.
