SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Started in 70 FOW between Ibay and Genny River. Surface temp was 58 and turned to 62 when we were at 100 FOW. Cold water inside. Saw marks between 40 and 70 in 80-90 FOW. First hit - small coho took NK Mag green glow (not sure of name) on rigger 60' down. Same rigger, Same lure took another coho 6# at 50' down. Screen became empty as we approached 100 to 140 FOW. Then we turned back. Saw more marks in upper water column. Last fish took black/silver evil eye on cheater. Beautiful rainbow trout! 13#. Will add pix soon. Thank u Chris for the cheater tip!

Cooper did not take any hits. Probably too cold down at the bottom.

Good luck out there!

Had to head back to tend my children football practice.

I saw you out there this morning,on my way to try the 200 foot line.I tried to hail you on Channel 8 but no dice.

You were right to stay close to shore, it was not until 250 FOW that we started marking bait and fish,at 220 foot down and by then the waves started to be decidedly unpleasant.

Rolmops,

Im sorry I do not have a radio on the boat. I did not bother getting the radio because I am deaf. However at the urging of my buddies, I will add the radio to the boat by next spring so my guests can use it to talk with others.

Feel free to text me 585 802 0909.

My game plan this morning was to first start the inside water first and then go off shore. With the fish biting in 80 to 90 FOW, I decided to stay by the inside water.

I am tempted to go out there again this evening because of the short run to inside water.

Good luck tomorrow.

Anthony

Sorry for my ignorance,I figured as much when I saw your e-mail address, but then I forgot about it again.

The main reason why I installed a vhf radio in my boat is the possibility of hooking it up to the gps and with one push on the "Emergency" button, your radio will start broadcasting your exact position on the water on most frequencies while also having the exact information as to who is on the boat because of a unique MMSI number that is being assigned to you and to your radio.

If you don't mind I will insert your phone number in my phone book.

Good luck this afternoon.

Tree Top - thats a real nice looking boat! I should be able to ID your boat easily especially with the red hull. I will add a picture of my boat. I am still waiting from a friend for that photo of beautiful Rainbow Trout!

Good luck today!

At last, I managed to get this photo from my friend. It wouldnt be a such a big deal however this is probably my biggest steelie of the season and the color on the fish is absolutely beautiful! Quick weight shows little over 13#. Fish released successfully.
