Question: Trolling for Spring Browns

Would like an suggestions on line size and line type for spring brown using in-line planner boards.

15# mono for main line and then 8-10# fluorocarbon leaders will work fine for ya.

I use 20 lb flea flicker for a main line.

In the east we are quite often still fishing Browns when the fleas show up.

i run 10# suffix until the fleas show up

then its 25# suffix and SALMON time

i dont think 10 lb is any good for inline planers on lake ontario. i tried it before and thers nothing wrong other than if you catch a brown over 15 lbs or a steelhead, they are liable to break you off whene the planer gets pulled backwards like a trashcan lid. 10 lb is great for big boards though. suffix dont break easy either so 10 lb suffix would be perfect.
