JUST GOT OUR "NEW TO US BOAT" IN THE WATER. WE GAVE FISHIN A TRY AND FELT LIKE THE LAKE BEAT US BY THE END OF THE DAY. WE MARKED FISH BUT DID NOT EVEN GET A BIT. WE FLAT LINED WITH CLEO'S AND FLOATING RAPALA'S IN CLOSE NOTHIN. MOVED OUT TO 30-50' WITH RIGGERS DOWN ABOUT 18-25' TROLLING NK SPOONS GREENS,BLUE,PURPLE. NOTHIN AT ALL. I STILL HAVE A SMILE ON MY FACE. GREAT DAY WITH MY FAMILY! ANY IDEAS ON WHAT I'M DOING WRONG? SUGGETIONS? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

Typing in caps to begin with (quit hollerin)

Sounds like you were doin things right. Some days they hit & sometimes not. Just keep an eye on the fishing reports here to see what works and keep washin lures.

Welcome to the site and good luck on the water this year.

Sorry about the caps thing I guess I just want to make sure everyone heard me the first time. I'll keep the fighting the fight. Be back out this coming weekend.

Hank,

I'm over on Willowpoint. Been in the family since the 1920's. We've always had a boat but never big enough to go after some larger fish. Hope to be out there more.
