SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

====================

Launched first thing this morning and had the first one in the boat before the second rod was set. The mud line was visible right off the back and as long as we stayed around it we got strikes. Ended with 13 Browns (4 in the 7-8 lb range) and 2 Steelhead (17 inches each). Most fish were taken on the flat lines 120-135 ft back. Couple striked on the riggers but more taken on flat lines. No planner boards on this trip and the fish didnt care either. Green jointed stickbaits were the trick for us with a few coming on green spoons as well. Great action all day and lots of fun. We would have stayed until dark but its my wife's birthday so I had to come home to take her to dinner.

It sounded like everyone on the water had a productive day.

yea the forecast for the week is warm weather which should make the action hot all week. I should have added that we casted for them for about an hour in a hot spot but couldnt get anything to bite and we really threw a bunch of stuff at them. As soon as we started trolling again we were right back on em.
