want to install kicker moter on my boat i have power sterring will i be able to hook it up to my out drive with out hurting my power sterring pump thanks jerry

I don't think you can! I would look into buying the T4 Panther hydrolic steering system for it. Lots of guys use it and love them.

I have power steering on my Islander and have no problems steering my kicker when the main engine isn't running. I use an EZ-Steer system and it works great for me.

I to have the EZ Steer and love it. My inboard/outboard does not have power steering and steers really easy.

My only concern is how hard does your wheel turn with your main motor off. If you have to crank it with 2 hands then this won't work for you. But now that I think about it. I do think they design boats so the powersteering is just an assist unlike vehicles. Check it out and let us know. I'm curious now. Good luck

Thanks for the input guys I put it on and hooked it up to the outdrive and it seems to steer just fine iam heading up senaca this weekend so I'll give it a good test it seems every thing works good in the driveway on the water is a different story
