carp fishing

I am giong to camp this weekend in fairhaven and if the big lake gets too rough I was wondering about some carp fishing as a backup. Where would you try carp fishing.

Sterling Pond right in the park should be loaded with carp this time of year. Careful- it's real shallow.

You could probably shore fish along the north shore for them right by the road.

Another place to catch Carp, is the OUTLET of Conesus Lake by the water authority. Small little part there, where they are kind of trapped in about 2-3' of water. Bite on corn and ALWAYS get one or 4-5 on each trip.

You see the fish swimming right there, but most are on the opposite shore line near the trees in the water.
