ice boom

was wondering if anyone knows about the ice boom and what that caused the lower river conditions to be like? I heard fom one person that its all messed up and thats all i heard. I was planning on going tomorrow but i am not sure now. That wind storm did a number at fort erie.

I haven't heard for sure if there was any damage to the boom, but I'm guessing that 10 foot sieche just pushed a bunch of Erie ice up and over the boom, which is cabled to the bottom.

I didnt end up going but if i did and i had your number, i would of have called since i was going to go by myself, going to go on short notice, its hard to plan it. I do plan on going soon either skipping work tomorrow or maybe saturday if weather permits. Send me a pm if your interested.

the ice boom did break in 2 spots.. there calling for se winds tonite 10-20.. then north winds the next few days.. hope its fishable sat!
