Browns are starting to go on the bouy line, also 25-40' off catfish. Should only get better, we found a pile of lakers off red building 240-290, all in the top 40'. Good Luck

fished yesterday from noon till 5,90 fow to 200 fow between little salmon and the plant.1 steely on 60 ft rigger with a slider.carmel dolphin.fished mostly spoons with one f/f out.2 riggers with sliders,2 dipseys,1 copper and 1 5 color.marked alot of bait between 100 and 130 fow,but no hooks.surface temp. was around 60 all the way out to about 180 then dropped a few degrees.every 10 ft down the temp. dropped a few deg.needed to be down around 80 ft to get water in the mid 40's.did hear some guys on the vhf picking up lakers and steelies out in 300 fow where the surface temp. was 50 deg.

fished yesterday morning and we had decent action until 9am-930.  Then nada, took a break and came back around 3pm and only got 3 more bites.  Everything on spoons.  Today went out at 5am and couldn't get anything going got the skunk.  We were in by 9, it was that bad but weather was great.  Tons of weeds/scum fouling up lines today.

All fish from yesterday were lakers/steel with one big mystery fish that took us out to 700 on a 5 color leadcore and pulled the hook while trying to slow it down (drag tighten).  I won't hear the end of that one.
