The wife buys "stuff" because it was on sale, I buy stuff and tell her it was on sale so we both have a lot of stuff

Yea how about that!!! To my wife SALE means buy, so I do the same just tell her it's was on sale!!! Like you said we are both happy, especially when I take the kids fishing, she goes shopping, life is grand.

Sounds normal to me.  The domestic argument at my house usually ends with: "when you quit buying shoes, I'll quit buying tackle"

It is actually sad, we subscribe to this forum so that we feel as though it's normal....it's not normal.

all stories are well said, you invest what you can for the love of it all. as for me any money invested is worth any thing invested to enjoy a day with family frends, grandchildren memories for myself and them!!
