nothing yet to speak of besides small pockets that the geese have kept from freezing

Thanks, I decided to take a drive out there tonight.  Ice as far as I could see.  Lots of grey spots.

Any updates on the ice conditions?  I'm coming up this weekend and just curious what I'll be getting into.

Just took a look at the South end. Still pretty well locked up with ice. There is some open water on the East side starting near the mouth of the inlet. Lots of open water pockets near the shore. I would guess a week to 10 days before it's fishable. I will check again in a couple days.

Conditions the same at north end of Owasco. With weather forecasted looks like late next week before any type of open water access.

Just took a look at the South end. Open water as far as I can see. The water level is up, but not too high. Water is a little brown at the South end. Watch out for debris in the lake if you venture out. There are no docks in at South Shore Marine as of yet. Good luck if you head out, and stay safe.

North end report. Ice all jammed up from north of burtis to the pump house. Early next week should be all open with winds and warm weather in forecast.

We trolled the Mud line today with really good screens but no action. Nice to get out test the new gear.
