I'm looking for a local shop between Rochester and sodus preferably. .

My cover on my islander has a few tears and looking to replace/repair

I went with John Mann. And I would definitely recommend him to anyone in future, not to mention for what he did he's prices are very fair

Looking good!   John is definitely a master at what he does. The dodger on my previous boat lasted  22 years for me and was still in decent shape when I sold the boat. I considered the it best investment I've ever made.

Random question ....last year when I had the canvas redone , John said I could treat it once a year ....but I can not remember what he said to use , any ideas ?

You may wish to call him to make sure and ask as some of this stuff seems to rot the thread used in some canvas when exposed to UV sunlight for long periods. Some things will also stain the material.
