Fishhawk. Pull the trigger and catch fish. Biggest advantage you can buy

I agree 8 million percent, but u have to analyze all the variables not just what the hawk gives you. i am just learning to fish with the hawk and having knowledge of down speed and temps is huge but its how you utilize all that data that lends to its benefits. i find it helps the most so far when the screen looks like a blank sheet of paper. i feel when i run gear in the preferred temps i am in the ball park then adjust based on marks, etc. if fish prefer a certain speed than i use that speed as an average and still vary.

Just my 2 cents.

I got mine from marine general!

Question. What do I need to buy to get water temp down that deep. What is the name of the product I need to buy one asap. I'm fishing depth not temp and not getting any hits. I'm a newbie. Thanks for any advice

Keep a eye on the classified section. Some great deals on fishhawks x4. As low as 400 for lightly used. Agree the rest. The fishhawk is a must have when locating the right depth temp.

46 to 50 seems to be the temp to catch salmon.

Regardless of what all the fish charts say.

Ask the captains, some of the best winning fish was taken as cold as 42 to 44 degrees.

If money is a issue, (since just starting out). Money can add up[emoji46]!!. So there is a cheaper fishhawk that connects to rigger cable and measures temp every 5 feet. But you have to keep bringing up rigger to see recorded temps.(costs, from 100 used to 150 new). Find the extra cash and get the fishhawk x4.

Happy Fishing, See you out there.

I would float on a log with a pole. Just as long as I'm fishing. I fished nearly 5 seasons without a down temp. Love having one now but did good without. We had to do what we had to do. Right?[emoji12]

Not gonna lie, it's rolling out here.

We will try to last as long as we can. Boat handling well.

Temp is crazy. 68 degrees all the way at 125fow. Found couple huge temp drops.55degrees

So water is mixing. Scattered temp pockets.

Keeping it safe, we will report back.

Nice Atlantic, 105 over 190. 55 degrees

Surface temp 68.2.

Lost big screamer on SD 100 rigger. Ran under my downrigger cable. Caused a big mess. Lost him. All better, back at it

4 to 6 footers, starting to get closer together.
