First trip of the season after replacing gas tanks all summer. Left the Oak around 6 and looked for fish able water. 45 degrees top to bottom out to 200'. Moved NE looking for temps. Started at 400' with surface at 62 and 44 down 50. First fish of the season is a small King on a white crush spin dr pulling a purple mirage fly out 124.

Congrats on your first outing of the year, and taking a king, size doesn't matter, the fact you made it Is important!!! just in time for the fall season!!!

Came in early due to one of the crew getting seasick. Sitting on the back porch watching the rain and listening to the thunder. Not a great start to the week, but we are here thru Thursday and hope for better to come.
