Lawrence HDS gen3 with P66 transducer

Good Day, anyone ever use a Lowrance HDS unit with a P66 transducer 50/200? Web site says it is an option. I am only interested in downward viewing for trolling at this point. The P66 is already on the boat. Also will be looking to hook up the Lowrance outboard cable driven auto pilot. Thanks for your feedback,

I did and it's a very good transducer. I'm running a TM-150 at this moment and I'm very please with it

My current FF is a ten year old Furuno 620. I like it, but time to move to newer technologies

If you're P66 is 10 years old you should get a new transducer to fully benefit of you're new Gen-3 and if you don't want to go to a TM-150 get the Lowrrance 50/200  HST-DFSBL or the HDI 50/200/455/800 so you can get the downscan also

My P66 was replaced this year, friend dropped my 10 lb cannon ball against the cable running up the back.

Not sure if you can get a adapter from a Furuno to a Lowrance for you're P66?

ive done this yes. a raymarine p66 with a splice kit and an hds plug. works well except that combination doesnt allow for surfsce temp
