Looking to really target lake trout this season. I will be on Seneca mostly. Any lures or attractors people swear by(cowbells ect...)any tips would also be appreciated. I have been out with a few guys and have learned a lot. Just curious for more! Thank you!

If you want to catch Lakers a wire dipsy setup with a Dodger and a flasher fly is unbeatable in my opinion. I prefer to run a chinook diver that dives quicker and has less resistance when retrieved vs. A dipsy. I run 2 chinooks at all time with all other rods focused on other species. This technique usually keeps me occupied with Lakers while trying to mix up the catch.

Matt - If you haven't already done so get yourself some #5 Hammerhead Spinners (cowbells) and Gambler Rigs. Folks have favorites but they all work. I'm pretty sure Steve has them at Roy's.
