Plumbing kicker to main fuel tank

Recommended Posts

I am trying to do this as well. I plan on running the second line to my kicker off my separator with the check valves as well. Will my kicker have an issue pulling from the main fuel tank if the main I/o engine is off? Or will the kicker create its own vacuum to pull and I should not have an issue?

The kicker will draw from the main tank, thru the separator & anti siphon valve with no problem.

I just purchased a new kicker. Honda 9.9 electric start/tilt and am heading on a trip this weekend. When I have time I will add a blue seas add a battery kit with acr but in meantime I am wondering whats the safest way to hook kicker to battery. Currently have honda 150 with 2 batteries and a perko switch (1,2, and both) can I just parallel the kicker to main motor leads on switch currently? If I only run one at a time is there a chance of damage. Thanks for info

I have a uninstalled controlking remote throttle unit included as well as a 4 blade hi-thrust prop and original unused 3 blade prop. Factory 3.3 gal tank and hose included. I paid close to $2k delivered for this last spring asking $1400, located in Rome, NY.

    • Mercury pro kicker experiences

Looking to add a kicker to my 16 fishmaster 196 that is already pre rigged for Mercury. Thinking a 9.9 pro kicker and was looking for opinions/ experiences.   Anybody running a late model 9.9 pro kicker and if so what are your likes/dislikes? Some searches I did turned up complaints on the fuel system( carb, jets) fouling up with ethanol gas, but I only run the non ethanol anyway. Anybody have or heard of this?     Sent from my SM-G975U using Lake Ontario United mobile app

    • 5.7 l 350 mpi 2003 mercruiser low pressure fuel pum

Hey guys my low pressure pump stopped working but my mechanic seems stumped. When I cycle the ignition switch on the pump won’t pump. My mechanic seems to believe it possibly could be and electrical issue since it occasionally will kick on.    Any sort of module we might be missing. It’s like the pump is not getting power.
