Has anyone tried powder coating there downrigger weights

I just spray mine with black Plastidip so I keep the lead away from my hands and minimize scratches to the boat. Maybe another alternative for you if the powder coating doesn't work or unable to do it.

I use the truck rubber under coating on mine but I've been having cabin fever and been powder coating everything

We start with black on one side and lead on the other.They both work equally well on most days.

Yes that rod holder looks amazing. I also use truck bedliner spray on my Torpedo downrigger weights.
