Lake Trolls leader material

Hoping someone can chime in..looking to replace the steel leaders of some of my kinked beat up,older S&S, Hammerhead larger type lake trolls. Wondering what size, test, steel leader material to use. Any difference in using coated vs steel as have some with both. Thanks in advance.

I've redone a number of cowbells using downrigger wire and it works fine.  No reason to use coated steel.

I have the wire in my office.  Let me know how much you need and I can hook you up.  I'm not sure of the pound test off hand.  I can look tomorrow and let you know.

Thank you both for the response. I will give it a shot to repair some of those older cowbells this winter.
