Jigging for kings

The jig bite on Lake Ontario has totally consumed me over the past couple years. Im not sure I will get to try it for spring time kings this year but thats where my crosshairs are moving to next chance I get!

i also am finding myself obsessed with jigging some kings and or casting  on a drift or hovering still.  last year i went out and got a few jigs and set up a rod and manged to get some practice runs in on cayuga jigging lakers.  had a ton of success there to get some confidence.  weather and timing on Lake O i only managed to try it one day for about an hour before the fishing partners started to complain.  got a couple hits and gobys.  did get one king that was briefly exciting but only at the bite as it was only a 2-3 pound fish.  i'm dying to spend some more time trying it if the conditions and fish set up out there.
