Muskies Inc. Central New York Chapter 70 strives to maintain and improve muskellunge fishing in New York State with a focus in Central New York. With an emphasis on youth and community involvement, we focus on educating and promoting catch and release muskellunge fishing across the state.

    I will be back from work that day, do a lot of traveling for work so I won’t be able to make it to all of the meetings or tourneys but will try. I and another new member will be there, only a hour from the house

    Nice fish! I'm not sure where you are located but we will be having a meeting on Thursday April 12th at 6:30PM at Hobo’s 281 Bar and Grill located at 10 S West St, Homer, NY 13077. We hope to see you out there!

    Today is the last day at the expo. It's been a great turnout so far this weekend. Stop out and see the guys in booth 423!

    We will be giving a seminar Friday at 1pm. Topics we will be discussing will be proper gear, tools, and handling for successful catch and release. Also, the important roll muskies play in our waters.

    It was a pleasure meeting some like minded fishermen and Women! Looking forward to more camaraderie and I'm confident this club will continue to grow. Many thanks to the founders of Chapter 69 for getting the ball rolling and establishing a strong nterest in Muskie Fishing throughout upstate NY. Without your spearheading the movement this chapter may not have ever been realized. Also would like to thank the founders of this new Chapter 70 as it has already given me an opportunity to meet other muskie hunters closer to my home. In case, some of the new members do not have LOU, I will copy and paste to FB also. Sharp Hooks and tight lines, Karl.

    Our first meeting will be this Friday, January 12 at 6:30PM. We will be in the meeting room at the Bass Pro Shops in Utica. The officers in attendance will introduce themselves and we will discuss our vision for the chapter. We will also go over positions we are looking to fill and our 2018 events. Unfortunately, we will not have the means at this meeting to host “online” participation for those who cannot attend. We apologize about this, it is something very important to us and we will be working hard to have it set up for our February meeting. Any new members that sign up at the meeting will receive a free bait and decal. We hope to see you there, snacks will be provided !

    A group of us recently started a Muskies Inc. Chapter for the CNY area; Muskies Inc. Central New York Chapter 70. We will be working towards maintaining and improving fisheries in the throughout the state with a focus in CNY. This includes promoting catch & release, educating, assisting with stocking efforts, youth and community involvement, and much more.
