  4. You might check the Facebook Marketplace. But don't trust anyone and only pay for goods with a service like PayPal or Cash APP so your money is protected if you get scammed. I found out the hard way not to pay friends and family, so now I only pay for goods and haven't had any problems paying that way.

  9. Well done by you three. Wondering who was lucky enough to grab the rod with that laker as had to be a good workout lifting it off the bottom!!
  10. Got out for a few hours (730am-noonish) this am. Got the salmon setup going in 110 and fished out to 300 and back. Didn’t mark many fish. Saw some nice bait in shallower. Only hit on day was decent king off a spoon down 100. Stopped quick on way in and tried to find the browns in 65-85 fow. Tried for maybe 45 mins w nothing. lots of bait in that 65-85 fow Lots and lots of junk floating. We had plastic, wet cardboard get wrapped on rigger lines. Also saw quite a few branches, sticks etc floating around. The fishing wasn’t the best but you couldn’t draw up better weather or flatter seas.
  11. Yesterday
  12. No they have been in Maryland, Pa, and NJ for years in the susquehanna. it was going to happen sooner or later.. Problem is they eat everything, andf the last thing that river needs is another big eating machine.. River already has a huge population of channel cats, Muskies, and the Flatheads out eat both of those... The walleye and SMB populations were already stressed, and something that gets huge and can eat lots of them can't be a good thing.. Walleyes especially are way down in population.. at one time it was nothing to catch 10-20 small sub 10 inch walleyes in an hour,, They were everywhere, and you could not get away from them sometimes, rushing to your lure before the big ones.. Then over a few years, we noticed that the smaller juvenile walleyes that drove us crazy were gone, and mature fish became less abundant each year, until last year, ALL year, our catch for the entire year was 3 fish.. This year to date we have caught one... Something has stressed the population badly. of both SMB and Walleyes.. Flatheads can't be helping..bob
  13. Went out this morning picked up 1 decent steelhead 75 down over 130 and had 1 knock off but that was it but their was a tree and a few decent size branches floating around in the bay so be careful going out
  14. Not aware they're on Lake Ontario...yet. But if you see one, I'd suggest you put the potato launcher away. They're Salidrones, employed by USCG.
  15. So where's the Lake Guardian? In Lake Michigan: doing survey and headed back to port.
  16. Hello, I am looking for a bow mounted electric trolling motor preferaby 24v with a shaft size of 60 inches or more. If you happen to know of one for sale please let me know. Thanks Billy
  17. Similar, but farther from Mid Lake and closer to shore. Survey boats much closer to shore.
  18. Did the brown thing and stayed close. We landed 7 browns , 2 small kings and a real nice Atlantic and lost a few more . Riggers and slide divers both . Black , silver , glo of some sort was the ticket . Great bite early and it shut off . 60 deg top and 50 down 35 to 40 .

  19. Went out for a quick trip yesterday evening. Fished in 160 FOW. Northwest of the powerplant. On a westward troll. Caught this 28" steelhead at about 60'. On a orange and gold stinger. Headed home after that.
  20. They are not burbot. They live in cold water.
  21. 60 on top yesterday and 49 down 90. Fish the marks and you will have no issues.
  22. Head west of the nose in 95-120. Lots of kings in that zone. All meat bite for us. Spoons rotted.
  23. Monroe County Offshore Classic Species Challenge and main event recap: Friday morning we left the creek in search of a brown for our box first. We dropped in West of the creek in 30’. We got the second rod down and the first rod fired with a 5lb brown. We decided to try to hang out a little while longer and try to upgrade that fish. A couple minutes later, the center rigger parked at 28’ with a Black UV tuxedo stingray took off with a nice 7-8 lb brown. We turned the boat north and charged the spread over to a king/steelhead spread. We troll North and trolled out to 250 and picked a decent steelhead and some small kings. We trolled back into 120 and headed West. Once we got West of Devils Nose, the screens lit up with fish. We boxed a 10lb king and continued searching. As we plugged West, we were marking some good lakers. Scott and I agreed we should drop a Hammerhead Froggy cowbell with a bullfrog Gambler Rig down and try to pluck a laker while we are trolling for a bigger king. I dropped the rig to the bottom and as it got set, the port rigger fired with an upgrade steelhead. As we caught that steelhead, the center rigger fired with a laker taking drag. After a good battle, we netted a 21.8lb lake trout. We pulled the laker rod out of the spread and went back to searching for a bigger king. Around 11 am, we boated a 16lbs king. We ended up upgrading our second steelhead with one a half pound bigger. Going to weigh in, we felt confident we were sitting in a great position to cash a check. At weigh in, we placed 2nd for the second time in three years. Congrats to Derek Wager with his winning box! Main event: Saturday morning we headed back to our water West of the nose. We set down in 95’ and the screen was blank. We bumped out to 115 and started marking fish. We plucked away at fish all morning but couldn’t keep bigger fish buttoned. At one point we lost 7 good fish in a row. Having a **** box, we decided to not weigh in. Congrats to Tom Allen and his crew on an impressive win. Thanks to Tim and Brandon for all the hard work you put into this event. Here is what worked best for us for two days: -Atommik UV Grinch meat rig - with a matching e-chip I made. -Hawks Tackle snowflake meat rig with the matching paddle. -Hawks Tackle UV green dot meat rig behind a green dot e-chip -Hammerhead Froggy 5/0 cowbell towing a Bullfrog regular Gambler Rig -Stinger Stingray UV black tuxedo -Stinger Stingray Froggy glow
