One snap 6oz snap weight and one 12oz snap weight orange spoon on 6oz and blue dolphin spoon on 12oz rod; caught 1 steelhead on 6oz snap weight rod; caught nice king on flasher fly and 1 smaller king on NBK diver rod. Also swam by Hamlin park in shallow area before fishing. Water was cold but refreshing.
  4. Probably still in transition....give it a couple weeks and things may look improved.
  5. Alright guys, putting im time for that state record Burbot. Anyone got leads or information on burbots in the eastern end of Lake Ontario? I see talks of a bite in black river bay and Henderson, which holds the current record
  6. Today
  7. Cool fish. Not cool for the river, but since they are prevalent in the lower parts of the river , seems like it was only a matter of time…
  8. Didn't know we had them. I'll research it.Thanks
  9. Yesterday
  10. Went out to get the grandson laker. 100 to 130 FOW Did 6 lakers between 10:30 and 12:30 Everyone got a fish.
  11. Went 2/6 today. Couldn’t keep them buttoned. Best was 130-150 fow down 75-95. Dipsies with f/f were dead. 300 copper with mag ghost was best. Electric funeral spoon on rigger took a hit and one meat rig bite.
  12. Slow for me out of Sandy as well today. Only fished from 10 to 11:30 but only had one hit. Worked 80 to 250. Surface temp was 61 and had 47 down 80. Currents weren’t bad and water color looked ok. Will be fishing pretty much every day from tomorrow till weather gets funky.
  13. It was slow for us out of the oak yesterday. 2 lakers 2 salmon lost 2 salmon.
  14. Similar to yesterday but different in and out:
  15. We went out around 8 in the morning and fished from 50 foot to 250. In the area of 80 to 130 feet there was bait and hooks, but no takers. We went out to 250 with the same results. All in all only one rod moved (meat) but it was just a shake and it did not even pop the dipsy diver. We got off the water by noon. It was great weather for a family pontoon boat ride ,but for fishing not so much.
  16. as I stated in the heading of my post, its a Flathead Catfish...
  17. Thanks guys. I saw that the Sovereign site was down, but I can give Nathan a call. I've heard that you can MacGyver a solution using either Walker or Big Jon, but before I go that route figured I'd check here. If anybody finds something, just pm me. Thanks again!!
