  6. Anybody have any experience with a good captain from the CB ? thanks Dan
  7. Tough with the waves/wind with a hard East wind coming in around 9AM but found 20 FOW to be best with baits near the bottom (so much for the forecast). Some nice browns with a couple of kings we did not boat. One off a deep diver larger fire tiger that was probably running 15 feet down over 23 FOW that cracked off the planer boards which was pretty cool and one off a spoon right off the bottom in 21 FOW that ran out 200 feet then doubled back towards the boat and shook off the lure. Tried Bodine sea sickness pill for the first time and was amazed, worked great and no side affects. Going to buy a bunch of those...
  8. John Mann Sodus Bay….I drove 4 hours. Well worth it. Tell him McCoy sent you.
  9. With the breasts we cut cross grain medallions and marinate and grill. I also slice with grain and make jerky, very good. if he doesn’t respond to your thread pm Kevin Legg on the site. Guy knows what to do with all of it. Good luck.
  10. Good for you! I love browns. Fishing for big browns to me is like deer hunting. Pretty cool, good luck.
  11. Before we get there, now is a good time to plan what to do with one before we bag it. Still haven’t shot one yet but the flock showing up in my field every day is getting my hopes up. They always seem to disappear on opening day but just in case, what are your favorite ways to prepare wild turkey?

  14. Thanks for digging that up. The only info I have on my stock prop is "P 8.5" stamped on the back of one of the blades. The blades are cheap enough to experiment with. I spend more than that on vehicle and boat fuel for one trip. I appreciate your help AA. Not trying to steal your thread cnyh2ofowler. Someone may chime in on this and answer your question.
  15. I agree..... The thing the little guys have going for them is the dirty water of the Genny...should help a little. Wish the feds would open a season on those nasty birds.
